Take a break from the busyness of life and join Aspen and Emily for an evening of complete relaxation and bliss at our Yoga Nidra and Reiki workshop!Yoga Nidra, Sanskrit for "yogic sleep," allows the practitioner to enter a deep meditative state, a state between sleeping and waking. Benefits of Yoga Nidra include the calming of the mind, relaxation of the body, and reduction of tension and fatigue, amongst many others. In this workshop we will delve deeper into the purpose and benefits of Yoga Nidra and experience a full Yoga Nidra session. You will be in savasana for the majority of this class and will be guided through a meditative process. We will also be offering Reiki healing during this session to enhance relaxation and rejuvenation for the body and mind. Reiki is a form of energy healing, using light touch or hands just off the body, to transmit life force energy from one practitioner to the next.
